Double Entry

Fare-Thee-Well/Nature of the Beast

Ghost of your voice,a whisper of your touch

The nature of the beast controls our animal lust

Barbwire tongue unleashes its dire threats

As my sanity is crushed under your cruel farewell

Under lock and key, I've restrained my mind

I've refused to see,

To believe

That I'm better off blind

The pain of your betrayal is neverfading

You cast me to the winds, with the torment of you saying:

You shall never be free

Always by me

I will never let you go

It will always be so.

Ghost of your voice

Nature of the beast

Speak with a barbed tongue

Crush under your feet.

Farewell to thee

Can't tame my roaring mind

Under lock and key

But maybe I'm just blind.

Neverfading, this dream of mine

Cast it to the winds

Beneath the sands of time.
