Loneliness Will Come

______________________________

The loneliness will come

No matter how much you deny

You can make pretty on the surface

And be dying on the inside.

When you least expect it

In the morning hours or night

Maybe it will come between

When you dont expect it might.

You can try to chase it away

You can pretend it isnt there

But when you open your eyes and find

The loneliness doesnt care.

It doesnt matter

If you dont have the time

It will come and rest its head

And stay with you awhile.

The loneliness will come

No matter how much you resist

The moments you spend begging

Pleading for it to cease,

Will be useless, pointless,

Because loneliness does not care.
